Dr. Fan joined ERS Group as a Consultant in 2008. She prepares statistical analyses of hiring, pay, promotions, and turnover using complex data sets. She also assists in calculation of economic damages in class action suits in both labor discrimination and wage and hour cases. Prior to coming to ERS Group, Dr. Fan was a senior Research Scientist at American Institutes for Research, where she directed projects for collection and analysis of data for pay and employment related issues in complex litigation cases. Dr. Fan’s research primarily focuses on labor and employment issues. She has published articles in the American Sociological Review, Sociological Methodology, Sociology of Education, and Social Science Research. She also had an article published in Social Stratification 2e, edited by David Grusky. Dr. Fan received her Ph.D. in Sociology from University of Minnesota in 1995. |
