Phyllis J. Mulder, Senior Vice President & Texas General Cousel With over 25 years of solid industry experience, Phyllis is a well-respected underwriting attorney, who truly enjoys working with independent title insurance agents. Quick to respond and approachable, Phyllis understands the needs of independent title insurance agents and the importance of working diligently to resolve underwriting issues to get the deal done, while minimizing risk.
In addition to practicing law for several years as a real estate attorney, Phyllis's prior experience includes employment with other title insurance underwriters as both an underwriting counsel and claims counsel.
Active within the Texas Land Title Association, Phyllis has served on many TLTA committees, including all of the education-related committees. She has been fortunate to serve as co-chair for the very busy Seminars Committee. She enjoys teaching and speaking and has spoken at many seminars, not only in Texas, but also in Arkansas and Louisiana.
Phyllis holds a Jurist Doctorate degree from the University of Texas School of Law. Her community involvement over the years has included the Girl Scouts, Big Brother & Big Sisters, Roy Maas Youth Alternatives, and her local Humane Society & SPCA. |
