Phillip Frost M.D. has served as a Director since January 2004. He has served as the Chairman of the Board of Directors and as Chief Executive Officer of IVAX Corporation since 1987. He was the Chairman of the Department of Dermatology at Mt. Sinai Medical Center of Greater Miami Miami Beach Florida from 1972 to 1990. Dr. Frost was Chairman of the Board of Directors of Key Pharmaceuticals Inc. from 1972 to 1986. He is Chairman of the Board of IVAX Diagnostics Inc. He is also a director of Northrup Grumman Corporation and Ladenburg Thalman Financial Services Inc. He is Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the University of Miami and a member of the Board of Governors of the American Stock Exchange. |
