Retired in April 2004 from practicing General Surgery and performing a whole array of surgical procedures at Samaritan Hospital, Dr. Myers has accepted a position at SRHS as Vice President of Medical Affairs, a newly created position offered to Dr. Myers by Danny Boggs at the beginning of June 2004.
Dr. Myers attends all senior leadership meetings and participates on medical staff committees as well. He's an integral liaison between administration and physicians, and also helps with medical staff development and participates in physician recruitment.
Dr. Myers brings his medical expertise and knowledge to the SRHS administration table in hopes of better securing the right kind of communication among all vested parties at Samaritan Hospital, which creates the kind of System that cares for the community. |
