Philip Koen is Chief Executive Officer and a director of SAVVIS. Prior to joining SAVVIS, Phil served more than four years as President and COO of Equinix, a provider of network-neutral data centers and Internet exchange services, and prior to that as CFO of Equinix. There he was instrumental in leading financial restructuring activities, aggressively scaling the company while building world-class IT and engineering teams and leading the company’s expansion strategy into Asia-Pacific. Prior to Equinix, Phil was in top executive positions at PointCast, Inc. where he served as President & CEO, COO, and CFO respectively. Prior to PointCast, he served in CFO positions with Etec Systems, Inc. and Levolor Corporation. Phil holds an M.B.A. from the University of Virginia.
