Philip J. (Phil) Sipling is an Executive Vice President of Martin Marietta Materials. His responsibilities include overseeing the aggregates operations of the Southeast Group and the Composites business.
Mr. Sipling joined Martin Marietta Aggregates in 1985 as vice president of marketing. He assumed responsibility for part of the Aggregates operations in 1987, and in 1993 he was given responsibility for the Magnesia Specialties unit and elected senior vice president of the Corporation.
A graduate of Juniata College in Pennsylvania, Mr. Sipling holds master's and doctorate degrees in geological science from Brown University. Mr. Sipling is a member of the board of the Independent College Fund of North Carolina, and previously served on the boards of Industrial Microwave Systems, Inc. and the National Asphalt Pavement Association. |
