Dr. Philip Shaller is a Managing Scientist in Exponent's Civil/Structural Engineering practice. He has worked for 13 years as an engineering geology consultant. His expertise includes geological and geotechnical site investigations slope stability analysis field mapping analysis of aerial photographs and remote sensing images sub-surface characterization landslide and debris flow identification and mitigation fluvial geomorphology foundation construction and earthwork observation rock mass characterization for tunneling and dam construction earthquake ground motions coastal geomorphology and karst geomorphology.
