Mr. Camacho has been Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Assurant since June 2005. From January 2003 to June 2005, he served as President and Chief Executive Officer of Assurant Solutions. Prior to his appointment as President and CEO, he served as the Company's Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing. Mr. Camacho joined American Bankers in 1990 as Vice President of Information Systems. At the time of the Company's acquisition of American Bankers, he was Executive Vice President, Investor Relations, with responsibility for legal and regulatory affairs, marketing services, licensing, state filings and client administration, as well as investor relations. A certified public accountant, Mr. Camacho has also worked as an accountant with PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP, specializing in insurance in the United States, United Kingdom and the Caribbean.
