Philip Burkart joined The Toro Company in 1986 when it acquired Wheel Horse® a South Bend company at which he held various international sales and marketing positions. He held a variety of marketing management roles at Toro’s corporate headquarters and in 2001 was promoted to the position of vice president and general manager international business.
Burkart was named vice president and general manager irrigation business in February 2003 and oversees the division’s short- and long-term strategic direction from its headquarters in Riverside California.
Burkart is a 1984 graduate of Indiana University-Bloomington with a degree in management. He is a current member of the American Marketing Association the Irrigation Association Strategic Advisory Committee and the GCSAA and a past member of the Outdoor Power Equipment Industry/International Team. |
