Phil Neray brings more than 20 years of experience in successfully introducing advanced technology to mainstream users and organizations. Phil was previously senior director of worldwide strategic marketing for Symantec’s Application and Infrastructure Management business unit. He joined Symantec in February 2004 as a result of its acquisition of ON Technology, where he was vice president of marketing. During his seven-year tenure at ON Technology, Phil played a key role in growing ON’s enterprise security and configuration management revenue by over 700%. Phil previously held senior marketing roles at Alias Research (special effects software for Hollywood films, video games and the Web, acquired by Silicon Graphics for $365 million) and Alliant Computer Systems (network-based UNIX supercomputers), and was a product manager for Digital Equipment Corp. He started his career as a field operations engineer with Schlumberger on remote oil rigs in South America. Phil holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering (Honours) from McGill University, where he graduated with distinction. |
