Peyton Marshall is a Senior Advisor based in our Boston office. Dr. Marshall brings over 22 years of financial and business transaction experience, including 10 years as chief financial officer of public and private biopharmaceutical companies and 12 years as an international investment banker.
Experience
Prior to joining JSB Partners, Dr. Marshall served as Executive Vice President and CFO of Panacos Phamaceuticals, including a seven-month period as Acting CEO. He was Senior Vice President, Finance and Administration and CFO of EPIX Pharmaceuticals from 2002 to 2005. Prior to EPIX, Dr. Marshall was CFO of The Medicines Company from its launch in 1997 to 2002. From 1985 to 1997, Dr. Marshall was an investment banker with UBS, Goldman Sachs and First Boston, primarily based in London, working with clients on structured transactions and financings. From 1981 to 1985 Dr. Marshall was an Economics faculty member at Vanderbilt University.
Education
Dr. Marshall earned an AB in Economics from Davidson College and a PhD in Economics from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
