Peter Tolsdorf is an associate in the law firm of McDermott Will & Emery LLP based in the Firm's Washington, D.C. office. He is a member of the Trial Department.
Before joining McDermott, Peter worked at a large international law firm.
Peter has experience in a wide spectrum of litigation matters, including antitrust, appellate, bankruptcy, constitutional law, corporate, financial institutions, insurance, international law, and securities litigation. Peter has worked on a case heard by the United States Supreme Court, helped research and draft petitions for certiorari, and assisted with appeals before several United States Courts of Appeal.
While in law school, Peter was a member and Notes Editor of The George Washington Law Review, for which he published an article: "If Separate, Then at Least Equal: Rethinking Brown v. Board of Education and De Facto Public School Segregation," 73 Geo. Wash. L. Rev. 668 (2005).
Peter is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia. |
