Peter Scott joined the Exostar management team in January 2001. He currently serves as Vice President Supply Chain Solutions. As such, he is responsible for business strategy and product road map, design, deployment, and customer support for Exostar’s supply chain solutions. Over the past eight years, Peter has managed the development and growth of many different Exostar products and services. He previously held the position of Vice President of Marketing and Corporate Development.
Under Peter’s marketing leadership, Exostar has received numerous awards for business growth and technology innovation including Deloitte’s Technology Fast 500 and Manufacturing Business Technology Top 40 Emerging Vendors. Peter has over 15 years of experience working at the intersection of information technology and supply chain collaboration. He is a speaker, author and frequently quoted thought-leader related to software-as-a-service, supply chain management, globalization, and secure collaboration.
Prior to joining Exostar, Peter served FMC Corporation in various leadership positions in strategic planning, product management, and marketing. As the Director of eBusiness for a $1billion equipment business at FMC, he developed innovative eBusiness strategies and implemented cutting-edge technology to grow the aftermarket parts and service businesses. Before FMC, Peter worked for Kajima Corporation, a global leader in construction, real estate development and architectural design, in its Tokyo Office of Strategy & International Business.
Peter is a graduate of the University of Rochester and has an MBA from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University. He contributes to Exostar’s international strengths having worked and lived both in Japan and Europe. Peter lives in his native Northern Virginia and enjoys outdoor activities including sailing, snowboarding and hiking. |
