Peter Ocko brings a wealth of private practice and client service experience to his role creating synergies between the best law firms and associates. Prior to joining the Los Angeles office of Major, Lindsey & Africa as a managing director, Peter served as special counsel to the global venture capital firm of Archimedes Capital, helping guide domestic and international company funding. As an associate in the corporate departments and technology practice groups of Hale and Dorr LLP and Mintz Levin PC, Peter represented a diverse array of institutions, from emerging growth companies securing investors and developing intellectual property to Fortune 500 entities launching joint ventures. He received his J.D. from Duke University School of Law in 1997. While at Duke, Peter served as a staff and the co-technical editor of Law and Contemporary Problems. A long-suffering Wildcat, Peter earned his BSJ from Northwestern University’s Medill School of Journalism in 1994. He is a member of the State Bars of New York, Massachusetts and Connecticut. When not chasing his speedy Jack Russell Terrier, Finn Davis, down the beach, Peter is active in the Los Angeles philanthropy community as a member of the Lawyers’ and Entertainment Divisions of the Jewish Federation of Greater Los Angeles. |
