Peter Matthies distinguished sixteen-year career in I.T. and technology began at Andersen Consulting in Munich, Germany. He subsequently co-founded a systems integration and IT-consulting company where he led strategic projects for large German corporations. Mr. Matthies also worked as an I.T. analyst and U.S. correspondent publishing more than 100 articles for European business and technology magazines. Mr. Matthies has recently focused on venture funding as the founder of an accelerator in Silicon Valley, focusing on German and American I.T. start-up businesses. Peter also worked as a Principal in the technology team of Apax Partners & Co, a leading Private Equity and Venture Capital Firm, and as Investment Manager for b-business partners, a leading pan-European VC firm funded by 12 multinational corporations. He is the Managing Director of an advisory and leadership-coaching firm based in Santa Barbara and Munich |
