Mr. Mansbach recently rejoined the firm as Counsel after having been a member of the Executive Committee for many years. Mr. Mansbach has extensive domestic and international legal and business experience and he is engaged in a general business practice and advises numerous business clients with respect to a variety of complex legal issues.Mr. Mansbach was Chairman of the Executive Committee of Republic New York Corporation and of Republic National Bank of New York from 1994 until 1998. He organized and was a Director of Republic New York Corporation (RR), a Russian National Bank, and Safra Republic Investments, Ltd., a family of mutual funds in London, Guernsey and Moscow.He remained a Director of Republic New York Corporation and Republic National Bank of New York until their acquisition by Hong Kong Shanghai Bank Corp. in January 2000, and joined the HSBC Advisory Board at that time.From 1991 through 1999 Mr. Mansbach was Chairman of the Board of Van Cleef & Arpels and a Member of its European Directoire. Mr. Mansbach received his LL.B. from Columbia University School of Law where he was a Harlan Stone Scholar. |
