Peter Honkanen, CEO, is a general manager with many years of leadership and product development experience in the high tech, laser scanning, and life science industries. He is a 2003 Sloan Fellow with an MS in Management from MIT and a BS in Electrical Engineering from Boston University. Peter is a named inventor on more than half a dozen patents covering microarray technology, and has over 10 years of experience leading product development in the microarray instrumentation field. Prior to his last position, Vice President of Instrumentation at Affymetrix, Peter was a principal and Vice President of Engineering at Genetic MicroSystems, a microarray instrumentation company acquired by Affymetrix in 2000. |
