Peter Buck joined Calypso Medical in 2007 with more than 12 years of legal experience in the technology and healthcare industries. Prior to joining Calypso Medical, Peter served as General Manager, Panel Business Unit, at Global Market Insite, Inc. in Bellevue, Washington. At GMI, he managed a business unit responsible for more than $50 million in annual revenues. Prior to joining GMI, Peter held in-house legal positions at Premera Blue Cross, EventPoint, InfoSpace and Go2Net where he focused on commercial transactions, mergers and acquisitions, technology licensing and public company reporting. Prior to his in-house counsel experience, Mr. Buck spent four years in private practice at Harris, Mericle & Wakayama in Seattle, Washington where he specialized in corporate and securities law. Mr. Buck holds a bachelor of arts degree in art history from the University of Washington and a juris doctorate from the Northwestern School of Law of Lewis & Clark College. He also serves on the boards of EventPoint, a content management software provider, Kikata, an RFID technology provider, and ProjectKesho, a nonprofit entity focused on providing educational opportunities in East Africa. |
