Peter has been an engineering educator for more than 25 years. His research has focussed on the modeling of turbulent flows via vorticity transport theory; the development of Lagrangian techniques for studying the physics of turbulent transport; and most recently, the application of vortex methods to turbulent flow prediction. He is the author of more than 50 journal and conference articles as well as a graduate textbook surveying the field of turbulent flow analysis, measurement and prediction. He has been a Professor Associe a l'Universite de Claude Bernard, Lyon, France in 1986 and a visiting Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of |
