Mr. Brodsky is a Partner of HM Capital Partners.
Since joining the Firm in 1995 Mr. Brodsky has focused primarily on the Firm’s media investments. In particular Mr. Brodsky has focused on the Firm’s activities in radio and television broadcasting and cable television.
Mr. Brodsky was actively involved in the execution of the radio buy-and-build strategies in Chancellor Media and Capstar Broadcasting. In addition Mr. Brodsky has primary responsibility for the Firm’s investments in: LIN TV Corp (NYSE: TVL) one of the largest independent owner of television broadcasting stations in the United States; Activant Solutions Inc. a software and services provider; Persona Inc. the sixth largest cable television company in Canada; and Choice Cable a cable television company located in Ponce Puerto Rico.
Mr. Brodsky serves as a director of several of the Firm’s portfolio companies including Activant LIN Choice Persona and Sturm Foods a manufacturer of private label food products.
Prior to joining HM Capital Partners Mr. Brodsky was employed in the media group of the investment banking division of Credit Suisse First Boston in New York.
He received his BA from Yale University.
