Mr. Mak has been the chief financial officer of The Wharf (Holdings) Limited, the Company's ultimate holding company, since January 2006, responsible for overseeing the corporate management functions including corporate planning, banking and external relations, company secretarial, group accounts, audit and insurance of the Wharf group. He is also a director of Modern Terminals Limited and certain other subsidiaries of Wharf. Prior to joining Wharf, Mr. Mak held directorship in CITIC Pacific Limited. His experience includes managing large-scale capital and infrastructure portfolios, real estate investments, shipping and leasing. Mr. Mak holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Hong Kong.
