He joined DuPont in 1988 in Canada. Prior to joining DuPont, Mr. Hurd worked for a major North American Electrical Utility for over a decade, primarily in the field of Human Resources.
Mr. Hurd has worked in a number of DuPont plants both in Canada and the United States. From 1992-1994 he was plant manager of the Ajax Ontario Canada Automotive Plant. From 1995 to 1998 he was plant manager for the Mt. Clemens, Mich., Automotive Paint Plant. In 1998 he returned to Canada as vice president of Human Resources. In 1999 he was relocated to Wuppertal, Germany, where he assumed the role of Operations director for Europe and Asia and lead the Operations integration for the Herberts Acquisition. In 2004 he returned to the United States as director of Global Operations for the DuPont Coatings & Color Technologies platform.
Mr. Hurd was born in Ottawa, Canada, and has an undergraduate degree in Economics from Carleton University and a Masters Degree in Human Resources Management from the University of Toronto. |
