Mr. Jokiel was appointed as our Chief Financial Officer Treasurer and a director in December 2003 and was appointed as our Executive Vice President in June 2004. Mr. Jokiel has over 30 years experience in the insurance industry. From April 1997 to January 2001 Mr. Jokiel was President and Chief Executive Officer of CNA Financial Corporation’s life operations. From November 1990 to April 1997 he was Chief Financial Officer of CNA Financial Corporation or CNA. Prior to that time Mr. Jokiel served in various senior management positions at CNA and was an accountant at Touche Ross & Co. in Chicago. He is a certified public accountant and is a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants and the Illinois Society of CPAs. Mr. Jokiel is a past member of the FASB Emerging Issues Task Force and the AICPA Insurance Companies Committee. |
