Mr. Hamilton is Vice Chairman of the Board of Brunswick and President Brunswick Boat Group having assumed that responsibility in February 2006. Most recently he had served as President Life Fitness Division since February 2005. Prior to that posting he had led Brunswick Bowling and Billiards from 2000 to 2005. Prior positions held by Mr. Hamilton at Brunswick are Executive Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Brunswick from 1998 to 2000 and Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Brunswick from 1995 to 1998.
Mr. Hamilton was Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Cummins Inc. from 1988 to 1995. He joined Cummins in 1983 as its General Counsel and Secretary and was named Vice President - Law and Treasury in 1987. Prior to this Mr. Hamilton was a partner in a Washington D.C. law firm and held a number of distinguished positions with the government including Special Assistant to the Secretary and Deputy Secretary of Defense; Executive Assistant to the Secretary Department of Health Education and Welfare; Deputy General Counsel Department of Health Education and Welfare; and General Counsel Department of the Air Force.
From 1971 to 1973 Mr. Hamilton was a naval officer serving in the Office of the Assistant Secretary of Defense (Systems Analysis) and the Office of the General Counsel of the Department of Defense.
Mr. Hamilton received his BA degree from Princeton University and holds his law degree from Yale Law School. |
