Peter Foyo is the current president of Nextel de México S. A. de C. V., a subsidiary company of NII Holdings, Inc.. Foyo is responsible for the complete functioning of the company's operations in Mexico. He accepted the post in August 1998.
Previously, Foyo worked at Alestra as Strategic Corporate Director, and Director of Wireless Planning and Implementation-PCS/WLL.
Before carrying out these tasks in Mexico, Foyo was director of AT&T Argentina; responsible for the company's administration and operations in Argentina, Chile, and Uruguay. He also participated as member of the Board of Directors of the Compañía de Teléfonos del Interior, representing AT&T. In Argentina, he was in charge of the multinational technical and mobile personnel who established a national cellular network.
Foyo studied International Business, Economics, Military Science and Engineering at Benedictine University and Wheaton College in Illinois. |
