Pete McPartland oversees insurance operations for QBE Regional. McPartland joined General Casualty in 1994 as senior vice president of commercial lines. He was promoted to senior vice president of underwriting operations in March 1998 and became executive vice president of insurance operations in 2000. He became president and CEO of General Casualty in 2003 and COO of QBE Regional Insurance in 2007. Before coming to General Casualty, McPartland gained extensive industry experience in underwriting, marketing, field management and senior leadership. He holds a bachelor's degree from the University of Florida. McPartland is on the board of directors for the Workers' Compensation Research Institute, Meriter Health Services and Gilda’s Club of Madison. He is serving as vice chair for the United Way of Dane County 2007 campaign.
