Dr. Molinoff has been a director of Palatin since 2001. He served as the company’s vice president for research and development from 2001 until 2003, when he accepted a position as vice provost for research at the University of Pennsylvania. He is also a director of Cypress Bioscience, Inc. Dr. Molinoff’s background includes more than 30 years of experience in both industry and academia. From 1981 to 1994, he was a professor of pharmacology and chairman of the Department of Pharmacology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine in Philadelphia. From 1995 to 2001, he was vice president of neuroscience and genitourinary drug discovery for the Bristol-Meyers Squibb Pharmaceutical Research Institute, where he was responsible for directing and implementing the Institute’s research efforts.Dr. Molinoff earned his M.D. from Harvard Medical School.
