Peggy Steif Abram has practiced with the Corporate-Finance Group in Faegre & Benson’s Minneapolis office since 1986 and is a partner in the Firm. For the past several years she has provided general counsel services to Hutchinson Technology Incorporated with responsibility for ongoing reporting obligations and major corporate transactions as well as coordination of the company’s legal services covering areas such as employment law intellectual property international business real estate and litigation.
She is regularly involved in a broad variety of corporate matters including: ongoing reporting and compliance matters corporate governance private debt placements and other financing arrangements contract negotiations and ongoing business review and documentation public equity and debt offerings document retention and records management policies and compliance and employee compensation plans and arrangements.
In November of 2003 she was nominated as Secretary to the Board of Directors for Hutchinson Technology Incorporated.
Peggy received her J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School in 1986. She received her B.A. summa cum laude from Carleton College in 1980 and obtained her Masters in Religion from the University of Chicago Divinity School in 1982. |
