Paula Bennett was appointed President of J. Jill in January 2008. She is responsible for the growth and profitability of the brand, including merchandising, marketing, direct marketing, and stores.
A veteran in retailing and merchandising, Paula knows the 35+ demographic and possesses a clear understanding of the J. Jill aesthetic. She joined J. Jill from Orchard Brands, where she was President and Chief Executive Officer for the Appleseed’s, Tog Shop and WinterSilks brands. Prior to that, she served as Chief Operating Officer of Eileen Fisher. Earlier in her career, Paula held key leadership roles at Calvin Klein, Federated Department Stores and Tiffany & Co., including serving as General Manager of its Fifth Avenue flagship store. She began her career in buying and merchandising at Lord & Taylor and later Bloomingdale’s.
