Paul Unruh joined Symantec's board of directors following the company's merger with VERITAS Software in July 2005. Unruh had served on the VERITAS board of directors since 2003.
Unruh retired as vice chairman of Bechtel Group, Inc. in June 2003. During his 25-year tenure he held a number of management positions including treasurer, controller, and chief financial officer.
He also served as president of Bechtel Enterprises, the finance, development, and ownership arm, from 1997 to 2001. Unruh is also a certified public accountant.
Unruh is currently a member of the board of directors of Move, Inc., a provider of real estate media and technology solutions, and Heidrick & Struggles International, Inc., a provider of executive search and leadership consulting services. He also serves on the boards of two private companies. |
