Paul J. Schwendel is a seasoned healthcare professional with over 12 years experience in the Renal Care Industry, with an emphasis on healthcare consulting.
Prior to joining Focus Management Group, Paul was President of a national internal medicine consulting company, where he advised and developed merger and acquisition strategies, created recruitment plans and managed the practice and dialysis units, as well as denovo development.
In another prior role, Paul also served as Vice President of a leading renal care provider with over 380 dialysis clinics in the United States serving 26,000 patients. In this role, he provided national support to over 400 dialysis unit medical directors, developed nephrology practice and dialysis unit acquisition targets.
Prior to his work in the renal care industry, Paul was the Vice President of a healthcare staffing company, where he managed business development for national healthcare contracts and provided strategic planning and medical staff development consulting to national health systems.
Paul was awarded his PhD from the University of Texas and his Master's Degree from Washington State University. He received his Bachelors of Science from Rutgers University.
