Paul D. Grossman, Ph.D., Esq. serves as the Senior Vice President of Strategy and Corporate Development. Prior to Invitrogen, Dr. Grossman held a variety of leadership roles during his more than 20 years at Applied Biosystems (ABI). Dr. Grossman worked as a research scientist, patent attorney and as Vice President of Intellectual Property and Chief Group Counsel. Most recently, he served as ABI’s Vice President of Strategy and Business Development. Dr. Grossman received B.S. and Ph.D. degrees in Chemical Engineering from the University of California at Berkeley, a M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Virginia, and a J.D. from Santa Clara University School of Law. He has authored numerous scientific publications, was the co-editor of the book Capillary Electrophoresis: Theory and Practice, and holds more than 70 U.S. and foreign patents. |
