Paul Donovan was appointed to this position effective from 1 May 2006. He joined Vodafone in 1999 as Managing Director - Commercial, and was appointed Chief Executive of Vodafone Ireland in 2001. In January 2005 he was appointed Chief Executive Officer, Other Vodafone Subsidiaries.
He has over fifteen years experience in the telecommunications and IT industries and has held senior roles at BT, One2One and Optus Communications and, prior to that, marketing roles at the Mars Group, Coca Cola and Schweppes Beverages. |
