Mr. Brennan joined Aspreva from AnorMED Inc. where he recently held the title of Acting President & VP Business Development. Mr. Brennan also participated as an active member in AnorMED's Board of Directors, representing the management team and providing operational updates. Previously in his role as Vice President of Business Development at AnorMed, he was responsible for product strategy, marketing, corporate and strategic planning, business development, and licensing. This position also involved extensive external contact with potential collaborators in the US, EU and Japan and included most of the top 20 pharmaceutical and biotech companies. Prior to his tenure at AnorMED, Mr. Brennan held the positions of Director, Global Licensing at AstraZeneca plc in Alderley Park in the UK and Director, Business Development and Licensing at Astra Draco AB, a subsidiary within Astra AB.
Mr. Brennan holds a M.Sc. in Physiology as well as a B.Sc (Hons) in Life Sciences from Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario.He lectures at the Simon Frazer University MBA Biotechnology Program. |
