Mr. Berkowitz is responsible for coordinating corporate office functions and their interaction with our operating units.
Mr. Berkowitz brings 33 years of business experience to TOUSA. Prior to joining TOUSA, Mr. Berkowitz was a principal shareholder at Greenberg Traurig, LLP, a major international law firm, where he served a wide variety of clients. He concentrated on corporate and securities law and has extensive experience in financing transactions, public and private offerings, and mergers and acquisitions.
Mr. Berkowitz holds a bachelor's degree in accounting from the Wharton School of Finance and a law degree from the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Berkowitz is the former Vice President, member of the Executive Committee and Chairman of the Planning and Allocations Committee and Community Relations Committee, current member of the Financial Management Committee, Planning and Allocation Committee and Board of Directors, Greater Miami Jewish Federation. He is also a Director of the University of Pennsylvania Wharton School of Business Dade Alumni Club.
