Paul W. Hobby is a co-founder of Genesis Park, a Houston-based private equity business specializing in technology and communications investments. In addition to serving as a director of publicly traded companies, EGL Inc. and Southwest Bancorporation of Texas Inc., he is Chairman of the Board for CapRock Services Inc., the largest satellite communications provider to the global energy business.
Mr. Hobby received a Bachelor of Arts in history from the University of Virginia and completed his education with a law degree from the University of Texas School of Law. He currently serves as a director for Baylor College of Medicine and Baylor College of Medicine Technologies, as a trustee for the University of Virginia, College of Arts and Sciences, and as a member of the University of Texas Development Board where he has been honored as an Outstanding Young Alumnus and an adjunct faculty member. He has been a Stewart director since 1989. |
