Founding the company in 1996, Paul W. Harrison now serves as Chief Technology Officer and Chairman of the Board. During the last 40 years, Harrison has worked with major corporations in the development and production of precision photographic, ophthalmic and aerospace optics as well as laser-based, electro-optical products – specializing in manufacturing automation using laser marking and automatic data collection equipment. Harrison has an extensive background in the operation of laser-based marking systems.
He began his career in 1965 with Bausch & Lomb, working in the design and manufacturing of ophthalmic diagnostic equipment. Harrison continued his work with Schneider Optics, in Germany and the United States, where he was involved with the design, manufacture and sale of precision photographic optics. Before starting TherMark, he finished his career as project engineer at Ford Aerospace & Communications Corporation where he developed and managed the fabrication and assembly of visual and laser-based fire control and sighting systems. |
