Mr. Goldman is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and Albany Law School. Mr. Goldman also is a Certified Public Accountant. He was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1986.
Mr. Goldman's practice is concentrated in commercial real estate, commercial banking transaction, tax assessment proceedings and equalization rate challenges, corporate finance and municipal finance. In addition, Mr. Goldman has handled numerous complex real estate acquisitions, sales, leasing and development matters, zoning matters, municipal underwriting and corporate finance matters, both public and private. He also has handled numerous tax assessment proceedings for both municipalities and taxpayers. He has considerable experience representing clients before various governmental and municipal agencies and authorities. He has substantial experience in equalization issues and administrative practice with various agencies and instrumentalities of the State of New York.
Mr. Goldman is a member of the Albany County and New York State Bar Associations (Member, Sections on Real Estate and Taxation) and the American Bar Association (Member, Real Estate and Taxation). Mr. Goldman is a member of the National Association of Bond Lawyers.
Mr. Goldman also is admitted to practice before the United States District Court for the Northern District of New York and the Southern District of New York and the United States Tax Court. |
