Dr. Paul D. Boehm is a Group Vice President and Principal Scientist with overall responsibility for Exponent's Environmental Business. Dr. Boehm has 30 years of experience in strategic and technical environmental consulting in the areas of environmental liability assessment; environmental forensics (fingerprinting; age-dating; dose reconstruction; allocation); chemistry of crude and refined petroleum petrochemicals PAHs PCB and Dioxins; oil spill and hazardous waste NRDA; and environmental health and safety services for new capital projects. He is an internationally recognized environmental chemist and marine scientist with expertise combining industry knowledge with a functional knowledge of environmental impact assessment forensic chemistry and risk assessment and management. His consulting assignments have included environmental science-based investigations including environmental impact assessments and baseline studies in West Africa Caspian Sea Mexico Brazil the former Soviet Union and North America. He has been extensively involved in the Exxon Valdez oil spill science programs and litigation support work. |
