Practicing primarily in Business Law, Intellectual Property Law and Administrative Law.
A partner in the Reno office, Mr. Deyhle regularly represents clients in the formation and governance of business entities; companies and executives in the negotiation and preparation of contracts and agreements; business entities and individuals, including professional sports agents and coaches in connection with intellectual property matters, licensing arrangements, Internet law issues and domain name disputes; and counsels employers and managers with respect to state and federal employment laws and personnel issues, including the preparation of employee handbooks and the investigation of employee complaints.
Mr. Deyhle also represents businesses and individuals in the purchase and sale of companies, real property, assets and private securities, as well as in commercial transactions, mergers, conversions, acquisitions, reorganizations and dissolutions.
Additionally, he represents clients before various state and federal agencies and offices, including the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office, U.S. Trademark Trial and Appeal Board, U.S. Copyright Office, Nevada Tax Commission, Nevada Financial Institutions Division, Nevada State Board of Equalization, Nevada Public Utilities Commission, Nevada Board of Pharmacy, Nevada Equal Rights Commission and the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission among others.
Mr. Deyhle has studied intellectual property and business law at the City University of Hong Kong, served as an editor of the Syracuse Journal of International Law and Commerce, worked for the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York and the Nevada State Attorney General’s Office and served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Brent T. Adams of the Second Judicial District Court in Reno, Nevada. Mr. Deyhle also served in the United States Navy during which time he earned a masters degree in business management.
He is admitted to practice in all Nevada state courts as well as the United States District Court for the District of Nevada and the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals.
