Mr. Toliver has 34 years of experience in the transportation industry including Director of the King County Department of Transportation, Transit Director for Seattle Metro, Deputy General Manager/Chief Transportation Officer for the San Francisco Municipal Railway (Muni) and Assistant General Manager for Operations for the New Orleans Regional Transportation Authority. In 2002, Mr. Toliver formed his own firm, New Age Industries, which is a marketing and consulting firm for new and emerging technologies. Mr. Toliver is a current member and former Chair of the Board of Trustees for the Norman Y. Mineta Institute, a former member of the Board of Directors of the Intelligent Transportation Society of America (ITSA). He is also a past Vice President for Management and Finance of the American Public Transit Association and past National Chairman/President of the Conference of Minority Transportation Officials.
