Patty Payan, joined EWM in 2000 with an extensive background in communications and real estate. A native of Miami, Patty attended Auburn University where she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in public relations. After completing her undergraduate degree, she moved back to South Florida and joined Florida Power & Light’s Marketing and Corporate Communications Department. When she wasn’t busy with marketing and communications, Patty began renovating several houses in the Coral Gables area. This led her to catch the real estate bug. In 1994, she obtained her real estate license, and has been in the field ever since. Before getting into real estate management, Patty was a top-producing sales associate, specializing in relocation placement. Her success in communications and in real estate has enabled her to become a well-respected Manager at EWM. What Patty enjoys most about working at EWM is the people she works with. One would think that in an office of this size, we’d lose the sense of camaraderie that a smaller office might experience, says Patty. "On the contrary, this group has a big heart. The associates, staff, and management team reach out to each other and to their communities in so many powerful ways. What could be better than working with a highly productive, compassionate, fun-loving group? Patty has been a member of the Master Brokers Forum for the past eight years. She served two terms as a director for the Realtor Association of Miami-Dade County. She currently sits on the Association’s Professional Standards committee. She is also a Florida Association of Realtors (FAR) director. |
