Patrick N. Sparkes is the Chief Administrative Officer for Europe. He was Managing Director of the UK Entities for NMT Neurosciences (formerly Elekta Instruments) when it was acquired by Integra in 2000. He subsequently was involved in the further acquisitions by Integra in France and Germany, becoming Managing Director for each of the entities and Vice President for European Operations.
Mr. Sparkes was sponsored at University by the General Electric Company (UK) as part of a Chartered Professional Development, Engineering degree, which combined both Business Management and Engineering.
After University he moved to a division of British Oxygen where he was responsible for developing OR medical gas analysers to market. In 1989 he moved to a specialist medical company designing and manufacturing Immunodiagnostic equipment for the major pharmaceutical companies as Director of Operations, before moving in 1995 to Elekta Instruments. |
