A self proclaimed "lifelong learner", Patrick Moquin diligently integrates his passion for knowledge in the daily execution of his job at Kronos, helping solidify the company's organizational strength through ongoing examination of growth areas. This analytical bent of mind enables him to "discover and bridge talent gaps" in building an effective leadership team.
With extensive management experience at well-known emerging and established companies such as Analog Devices, Sonus Networks, and Sun Microsystems, Moquin joined Kronos in 2006 as vice president of human resources to lead the company through its next growth stage as a global leader in workforce management. Passionate about keeping current on employment and labor laws as it pertains to different countries, Moquin effectively oversees Kronos' global human resources (HR) practices.
No stranger to leading major global HR initiatives, Moquin started on this path back in the 1980s as the first appointed HR leader at the Massachusetts campus of Sun Microsystems. As senior director at Sun, Moquin managed a global team and aligned the HR practices of the company's Asian, Australian, European, and North American offices.
Following Sun, Moquin led the HR department at Unitrode Corporation as vice president, and managed the HR activities around the company's $1.2B acquisition by Texas Instruments in 1999. During his tenure at Unitrode, Moquin was heavily involved in the strategic growth plans of the company, and also oversaw the cross-functional restructuring initiatives.
After Unitrode, Moquin went on to helping emerging and established technology companies refurbish their HR delivery models. At Sonus Networks, a rising global voice, data, and multimedia solutions provider, Moquin, as vice president of HR, revamped his department to help maintain the emerging company's competitive edge.
Most recently, Moquin was with Analog Devices Inc., a $3.1B analog and digital integrated circuits developer where he was responsible for managing the HR unit of its largest division.
In addition to a bachelor's degree, Moquin holds a master's degree in business administration from Rivier College and a Juris Doctor from New England School of Law. |
