Patrick (Rick) Boyd is a USPTO registered Patent Agent working in Ater Wynne's rapidly growing patent practice group. Rick brings to the practice more than 15 years of engineering experience in materials, equipment, and semiconductor-related manufacturing processes cultivated while working at Intel Corporation. As an inventor himself, Rick holds at least 10 issued patents and other patents pending.
Rick has written and successfully prosecuted applications in a broad array of technical disciplines, and is recognized by his clients for his ability to rapidly grasp both the nature and advantages of their inventions.
He received his Bachelor of Science degree in 1988 from Southern Oregon State College, and expects to graduate from Lewis & Clark Law School in 2008.
