Patrick C.S. Lo has served as our Chairman and Chief Executive Officer since March 2002. From September 1999 to March 2002 he served as our President and since our inception in 1996 to September 1999 he served as Vice President and General Manager. Mr. Lo joined Bay Networks a networking company in August 1995 to launch a division targeting the small business and home markets and established the NETGEAR division in January 1996.
From 1983 until 1995 Mr. Lo worked at Hewlett-Packard Company a computer and test equipment company where he served in various management positions in software sales technical support network product management sales support and marketing in the United States and Asia most recently as the Asia/Pacific marketing director for Unix servers. Mr. Lo received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Brown University. |
