Before assuming her position as the Treasurer of the Dominican Sisters of San Rafael, California, Sister Patricia Boss ministered in secondary education throughout California at San Domenico School in San Anselmo, Saint Mary’s in Stockton, Justin-Sienna in Napa and Saint Patrick-Saint Vincent’s in Vallejo. In addition to her finance work in San Rafael, Sister Patricia served as Treasurer of the Board of Directors of The Family School in San Francisco, a non-profit agency which helps women on welfare earn GED certification and prepare for employment while providing quality child care for their preschool children. She serves on the board of trustees of Saint Joseph’s Regional Health System in Stockton as well as its Finance and Capital Allocation Committees. She is also co-chair of the regional Conference of Religious Treasurers and is a member of the Board of Directors of CANICCOR, an interfaith council on corporate responsibility. |
