Ms. Nowak is a member who practices in the areas of medical malpractice defense and pharmaceutical litigation, health care law and related health care litigation. She practices in all state and federal courts in northern Illinois.
A licensed nurse, Ms. Nowak's active trial practice includes representing hospital and medical professionals in medical malpractice actions, pharmaceutical companies in product liability actions, and hospitals in health care-related litigation. She also represents professionals before the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation. Her practice also includes risk management, quality-of-care issues, and medical nursing staff policy, procedure and licensing issues. She also handles state court appeals. Ms. Nowak is a national and regional invited lecturer to physician, nursing, hospital and other health-industry groups.
