Dr. Bjorkman is a Professor of Biology at the California Institute of Technology. She is also an Investigator of the Howard Hughes Medical Institute and a member of the National Academy of Sciences, the American Crystallographic Association, the American Society of Cell Biology, the American Association of Immunologists, and the American Academy of Arts and Sciences. Dr. Bjorkman received a B.A. in Chemistry from the University of Oregon and a Ph.D. in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology from Harvard University. Subsequently, she held postdoctoral positions at Harvard and the Stanford University School of Medicine. |
