PROMINENT ASSIGNMENTS
Co-lead counsel currently representing Ford Motor Company in pending antitrust/RICO litigation with claimed damages in excess of $3 billion. Twelve of thirteen counts, including antitrust and refusal to deal claims dismissed on Motion.
Represented major sporting goods manufacture as co-lead counsel and obtained preliminary injunction against competitor for infringement of sporting good equipment design.
Michigan counsel on patent litigation matters for Google Inc. and Henrob Ltd.
Co-lead counsel for Compuware in three lawsuits stemming from opposing party's misconductin an asset purchase transaction. Obtained summary dismissal of two lawsuits and successfully obtained and collected multi-million dollar judgment in the third lawsuit.
Co-lead counsel for MGM Grand Detroit in putative class action alleging violations of theMichigan Consumer Protective Act in operation of slot machines and obtained summary dismissal of all claims. Dismissal of cases affirmed on appeal.
Represented Northwest Airlines, Inc. as Michigan counsel in predatory pricing lawsuit.Settled on favorable terms after summary dismissal at trial court level.
Represented Northwest Airlines, Inc. as Michigan counsel in class action lawsuit alleging price-fixing conspiracy between Northwest and other major airline competitors.
Represented Northwest Airlines, Inc, as Michigan counsel in lawsuit brought by the Department of Justice challenging Northwest's ownership in Continental Airlines on antitrust grounds. Settled on favorable terms after commencement of trial.
